More and more employers are recognizing the benefits of incorporating Job Simulation exercises(work samples) in the pre-employment selection process.

These activities determine the candidates’ job suitability to a particular line of work, and are useful in predicting the likelihood of success on the job.  These activities involve tasks, materials and tools that are identical or similar to those in an actual job or cluster of jobs.  Work samples are useful in identifying a candidate’s familiarity with work tasks; work style; work behaviours and traits.   Performance on these activities is measured against established levels of proficiency within an occupation / industry.
